Madison Clodius

Early in life, Maddie discovered that she loves exercising and physical activity. She has enjoyed running and living a healthy lifestyle ever since she was little. “I started running, and eating healthier in middle school. Running was my escape to clear my head, it grounds me.” It wasn’t until high school when she realized her true passion was in massage therapy, sports medicine, holistic medicine, and helping people grow a stronger passion for physical activity as she had. “My favorite two things about high school were: sports medicine class and the cross country team. Each year, a local massage therapist would set up her tent at one of our races to work on the runners. After she worked on me, I made it my goal to one day come back and volunteer as she did. Which I did, this year!” Maddie graduated Summa Cum Laude from ECPI University with her Associate’s in Applied Science of Massage Therapy, became licensed shortly after. She is active in the massage community and is a member of American Massage Therapy Association. Maddie recently joined the team in November and loves it. She is glad to be a part of this wonderful, passionate team at AWC. Maddie plans to further her education within the sports and holistic medicine field. She plans to branch out into physical training and yoga in the near future.
